DYN Impact Group and FoundationMe Unite to Support LA Wildfire Relief

The Los Angeles wildfires have caused widespread devastation, leaving countless families and individuals struggling to rebuild their lives. While millions of dollars have been donated to organizations, many individuals are still in need of direct support. That’s why DYN Impact Group (DIG) and FoundationMe have partnered to create the Hearts of Impact Fund, ensuring that donations go directly to the people who need it most.

Los Angeles has shaped who we are at DYN Multimedia Group, from our founders’ roots to the creative and music work we’ve done here, including impactful projects they we worked a long with like the LBC Movement backed by Snoop Dogg, aimed at supporting local artists and uplifting the community.

Now, inspired by the sense of unity in the city, we are stepping up to help those affected by the fires. As Snoop Dogg said, “People are coming together regardless of their differences to help those in need.” We believe in this community spirit and have partnered with FoundationMe, a Los Angeles based nonprofit, to ensure we can provide direct financial support to individuals and families impacted by the fires through the Hearts of Impact Fund.

The Devastation of the LA Wildfires

On Tuesday, January 7, the wildfires began with a fast-moving blaze igniting in Pacific Palisades. The fire rapidly spread to multiple areas, including Pasadena, Altadena, Malibu, Calabasas, and the Hollywood Hills. In total, the fires have burned over 50,000 acres, destroyed 16,000 structures, and caused over $50 billion in damage, resulting in widespread devastation.

As of the most recent reports, 28 lives have been lost in the disaster, and tens of thousands of people have been displaced, with many still in urgent need of support. These fires have left families without homes, basic necessities, and the resources they need to recover. The toll on the community is profound, not just financially, but emotionally and physically as well.
